You're welcome. Sorry, I cannot help you with your other setup question. I only run in blinky mode.

I have had some troubles with my VTX10 to not respond on throttle for a brief moment when the car is turned back on its wheels when it has been on the roof. It's kind of like the delay you got when using reverse and then immediately try to go forward.

I have calibrated the ESC numerous times but the problem still seem to be there, very intermittent though.

I have performed the PPM monitoring suggested on the Facebook page:
https://www.facebook.com/notes/viper...42432302493991

My result are the following

When TX set to 70/30 throttle mode (this is the mode I always use):
F = 1151 us
N = 1647 us
B = 1944 us

If I switch the TX to 50/50 throttle mode i get:
F = 1102 us
N = 1498 us
B = 1893 us

I get the same readings every time I try so the radio seems to be very consistent on the output.

I run the VTX10 with Narrow dead band. I first suspected that it was my neutral not going back correctly and maybe the trigger gave a little bit of reverse when in neutral. But that does not seem to be the case. When using the PPM monitor the trigger always return the exact same neutral value (i.e. 1647 us) when releasing the trigger.

This will probably not be a problem when racing because the reverse is not allowed, but it is very annoying when practicing for sure. Please give me some advice.

BTW, the TX is a Airtronics/Sanwa MT-4 with a 451R receiver.

Do you have normal mode selected with the throttle?

Anytime something seems fishy with electronics - check your sensor cable. Make sure its plugged in or take it off and try another. The esc reads the end points from the radio, so something is happening here.

Is there a mode that gives you 100/100 throw on the forward and brake - what ever is stock on the radio's software.

Then its also all the little things, connections on the receiver, no wires pinched or shorted, solid connections. Even try different model within the radio as each can be a little different (you can also check that with the PPM test).

The RX is bound in FH3 mode. The throttle channel is set to normal mode and the steering to SHR mode.

Then I have no idea hahaha, try reflashing the software in the speedie maybe?

I have the exact same combo as you and don't have this problem.

Ok, I will test another model in the radio and see what readings I get. I do have have the throttle EPA set to 100% in the radio and the calibration process is not an issue. I also get the solid lights on the VTX10 when appying full throttle and brake. This is why I suspect this has to do with the neutral.

Could it be that my neutral is too near the 1700us upper limit? If I get the same reading on other model memories would it not be possible to use the throttle subtrim to adjust it down so neutral is say 1600us? Just speculating now... I would rather not use the 50/50 setting in the radio because of the less forward resolution.

I have no idea what the real problem can be. All connections are solid (good soldering etc) and the sensor cable is brand new. (I do have another one, maybe I will try that one as well)
