Congratulations to the Gentlemen who had the balls to design and introduce a new esc and motor range in a very competative market that i take my hat off to you for doing that .

To the Haters try the product first if it fails you then walk away and go somewhere else there is no need to put it down maybe that product just wasn't meant for you thats all.

Being a director and share holder of a much larger esc/motor manufacturer i praise guys like viper who can come out with a product and share it with the world .As for being innovative yes they are from the little simple features they have created on the esc like there programming method etc but in saying that the hand held lcd unit was created by hobbywing for speed passion 6 years ago so nothing new but not with the other features this unit has like the servo tester etc .

Good luck Guys .

I just placed my pre-order for the VTX10 and eagerly await its arrival. As far as I know I will be the only one running a Viper ESC so looking forward to represent here in GA. I currently run 17.5 and 13.5 and I'm looking for setups for the 17.5 class. I race on a large outdoor track and my car is a XRAY T3 2011 and the motor I run is the D3. Any setup help I can get would be great.

For perspective here is a video of me practice running at the track I'm the gray car

Really? Brushless motors using hall effect sensors have been around since the 60's I believe...

You are arguing the usage of the word "innovative." There are language usage forums out there you might be more at home posting in. Since you are the vocabulary police for the use of "innovation" as an advertising gimmick, be sure to call up Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, Honda, Lexus, Toyota, etc, etc, etc... and let them all know that their current line of cars are all horseless carriages and by intergalactic law cannot be dubbed "innovative." I'm sure they will yank all of the commercials they are currently running if they only had someone as smart as you to lead them off their path of cluelessness. I bet you think your way of conveying your intelligence to the RC world is cute and "innovative?" Sorry, you are old tech too...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troll_%28Internet%29

With a generic screen name and 16 posts, "believe me, I know what I am talking about, you should all bow down and feel blessed for the supreme intelligence I have bestowed upon the internet" comments just don't hold water...

I have more than 5 years working for industry motor companies and even I wouldn't come out swinging with "believe me I know what I'm talking about.." L-M-A-O

We are working on the new VTX1's right now, don't worry you haven't missed anything. They are coming as fast as possible but we have many projects and I don't have an exact eta yet. Thanks for your patience!

The VTX1's wont be ROAR legal until they're available. The VTX10 and VTX10R's will be ROAR legal very soon, I'm working on that now

From the pics it looks like the VTrax10 is red but the VTrax1 will be black...I could be wrong though.
