m8 and lipo
 
i have a 2s lipo tha fits in the m8 will a lipo work without messing it up

No, the m8 requires a 3s (11.1v) lipo...

gotcha so is there truly a advantage to having a remote with lipo exept for it lasting forever

Lipo should be lighter. It helps you in an hour long mains. But tell you the truth, after 30 mins, any transmitter would feel the same weigh :lol:
