We need an Official Savox thread, so can we designate this one to be it?

What is a good servo for 10th buggy? The Savox SC-1251MG combines leading edge technology with a super high 12 bit (4096) resolution and Metal Gears. With it's shorter case profile, the SC-1251MG is the perfect servo for most 1/10 onroad applications. |
Thinking of trying savox in the near future:
what would you suggest for buggy? I was thinking of running the http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ium-Gear-Servo for both ends Steering and T/B will that do you guys think? |
if you are looking for servos for steering, throttle and brake i definately use the 1267mg, they are a high voltage servo.
|
I just started using Savox servos, a 1267MG in my SC10 (overkill!) and a 1251MG in my TC5, so far so good, ensure your ESC's BEC can pump out at least 3 Amps and even then run a capacitor on the receiver if you don't wish to use an external BEC. They are fairly amp hungry. Will see how they hold up!

Do they have products for on road?
|
With high end servos reacing expensive prices of up to 120$ to 150$. These servos look to be a great value and performance. I have yet to try these servos but have heard nothing but good things about them.

If a servo can handle the cartwheels of offroad racing, then on-road duty will be a breeze, under normal circumstances. |

Anyone knows where can I get replacement gears for Savox 1251 Low Profile servo? I stripped 2 teeth on one of the gears as a result of no using any servo saver in my TC. Anyhow, I m happy with Savox, they are very good, all my cars have 'em, from 1251,1257 and 1258. They are the best i think.

Yes they make a micro and low profile. You can use any of their servos for on-road if you please.
