lipo storage

Hey all
I run my truck just about everyother day I have 2 lipos so I run one to where the truck shuts down than I go home recharge it and the next time out I use the other one following the same routine Is this an acceptable format for use and storage I use a thunder ac6 charger never leave them plugged in past fully charged alert, I charge them inside my house but never leave when charging so your opinions are appreciated
thanks
Russ

If you're running them that often there is no need to storage charge them. You really only want to storage charge them if you're not using them for over a week.

If you're not running the voltage down too far, it would be better to just leave them until you got ready to run the next time - then charge one fully before you go running. Hyperion says to never store lipo fully charged -

"Storage - Lipo should never be stored fully charged, or with less than 50% of capacity remaining. We strongly recommend Hyperion EOS chargers, as they have automatic STORE functions to insure that the packs are in the range of about 60%~70% capacity (3.78V~3.92V resting voltage per cell). After returning home for the day, simply use STORE MODE to achieve this automatically. Batteries are best stored in a cool, dry environment (2~20 °C or 37~68 °F)."

I'e changed the way I used to do things - I measure voltage when I get finished and if they are above 50%, I leave them alone til next time and recharge before I get ready to use one.
