Orion servo's
How are they? I see they are way cheaper than most so just curious as to how they work for steering in off road cars and which one to get.

They will take 14.8 volts in a 1/8 scale for about 4 minutes.... my bec went out.
That is all I use now. I called them told them what happened and that it was my fault and they still replaced it. So, I replaced every servo I had with one. I got 190 oz inch in my onroad tc ..lol. |
My Son has used a 1007 in his 1/10 buggy since the first of the year, seems fine so far. Still slop free and nice and fast.
Compared to the Futaba BLS451 we have in our other stuff, including his old buggy that I now use (hand me up?). The Orion is a little jittery on the bench, the servo tuning is really high, but seems fine on the track. One of our local Worlds Qualifier drivers recommends the 1409 though, especially for truck or 4wd. Doesn't think the 1007 has enough torque at the speed he takes corners. Sadly doesn't appear to be a problem for us though. |
