Lipo Storage

I won't be using my lipos for about 3 weeks. How cn I store them? My charger does not discharge lipos. Should I justbtop them off? I don't want them to over discharge just sitting.

Correction, my charger discharges to 6 volts for 2s and that is it.

If their voltage is between 3.8 - 3.9v/cell, they are fine the way they are. I assume you have an accurate way to measure their voltage.

Supposedly the ideal storage voltage is 3.85v/cell, but thats only because 3.85 is in the middle of the recommended storage range. This is resting voltage, the voltage after they sit for a while.

You can rig an auto tail light bulb (believe its a #1157) and use that to discharge if you need to. Lipo's self discharge is so low, you don't need to worry about it unless you talking months and months of storage.

6volts is too low, don't take them down that low. You could discharge them til you see a voltage of 7.4v (for 2S) and then stop and see what that recovers to (resting voltage).

I'll dis-charge until 7.4 and see what I get. Thanks.
