A mind of its own
 

I was given a traxxas rustler with no radio. So I use a traxxas radio from a different model with its crystals to run the rustler for my 6 year old. It ran fine
for a battery or 2, now the motor twitch's or takes off. Batteries are strong.
Adjusting the trim on the radio seems to help for a few seconds. A different E.S.C. didn't change a thing. Any Ideas?

Recalibrate the esc to the radio (unless you already have).

Go to Traxxas support and get the manual so you'll have the calibration procedure.

I re-programed the esc and its still buggered. Is a three channel radio from a revo compatible with a two channel reciever in a rustler with matching crystals? What about a dirty motor. Would it cause these symptoms?
