Crazy idea for Novak Havok Pro

I'm hoping one of the electronic gurus can help me with this. I know the HV pro esc is rated to handle up to 4s or 12cell nimh batteries. Would it be able to handle a 12V 8ah lead acid battery?

No, I'm not looking to throw one of these giant batteries into an RC car. I'm blending 2 hobbies. I'm looking at turning my 2-1/2 year old's power wheels tractor into an RC Car. And one of the things that I'm thinking about is making it brushless.

What?!?! I know I'm not the only person who thinks of these things. I've already modded the tires to be rubber knobbies.

No. It isn't. 2S, only.

Our HV Pro uses two 2S packs.

On your website, it says it can be wired for single 4s pack. Is that true or no?

But to simplify, am I to take the answer to be "No" the Novak HV pro wont be able to handle a 12v 8ah lead acid DC battery?

The HV Pro is very outdated. You'd be better off using a Mamba Monster or Xerun 150A.

Surely, you jest....

Expecting any manufacturer to recommend using an electronic esc wildly beyond any published specs?

There are some airplane and heli ESCs that can handle up to 12s lipo. Using a 10th scale ESC seems like it might be pushing it for running a power wheels.

I'm not sure what they used exactly, but I've seen a few videos of RC Power Wheels on youtube.

Actually most of the motors used in power wheels are similar to the 550 size motors used in RC. A common motor used in power wheels is a 550 21T motor.

Doing some research. The power wheels battery battery runs 12V 8ah and 120A max discharge rate so, if my math is right it's the same as a 3.25S 8000mah 15C Lipo.

I think it's totally doable but I don't think this is the right combo to use.
