Sanyo Eneloops seem to be the best, but HobbyCity's LSDs are not shabby. They are just not as readily available being in Hong Kong.

I need a better battery (that lasts longer) for my Futaba 7c - 2.4 radio and will be building one with 8 Sanyo Eneloops.

Most are getting them from Thomas Distributing.

I see...

So I can use a regular NiMH charger, correct? Those LSD AA's are also 1.2V right? So I would need 5 to make it a 6v hump pack (wired in series).

Yes, 5 of these wired in series would yield a 6v nominal hump pack. The LSDs are 1.2v like the ordinary AAs.

As long as you don't charge more than 1amp, you're fine with a normal NiMh charger. AAs are easily fried on a charger. Some try the 1C business with them and they just cook the life right out of them. AAs are not big enough to stand higher charge rates.

I slow charge AAs at 0.5amp as much as I can and will use 1amp when I'm in a rush.
