Why don't you get a lipo and get the most out of your HV servos?

I run the protek lipo, works great in my MBX6, thanks!

i am currently using lipos but want to get rid of the regulator, hence why im switching to Savox hvt.
My Losi regulator puts out 6v and the life batterys used with Savox hvt servos puts out 6.6v right?
so i will get better specs with Life and hvt rather than lipos with 6v regulator right?
by the way i use Spectrum dx3r.

No,

You will get the best performance by using a Lipo without a regulator and your savox h/v servos.

The LiFe battery's are rated at 6.6v but the put out 7.2v, and LiPo's are rated 7.4v and put out 8.4v

hvt servos are designed to be used with lipo, but life are safer than lipos due to the fact
that they wont fire if overdischarged or wrongly charged! on the other hand, not all receivers are designed to be used with lipo, on futaba just the 4pkS just released can be used with lipo, jr, spektrum ko and sanwa i believe can handle lipo

good luck!

What radio are you using?

I know spektrum can handle anything you throw at them.

HV servos are meant for lipo and that is how you get the most outta them. Its a risk but i know ppl that run lipo with reg servos and have been using the same servos for 3 years.
