Orange Buggy servo?????

I saw these servos on A main, Savox, and they look sweet, anyone know much about them. It seems they are popular in Europe... This one looks great for steering duty in Buggy....

i havnt tried, this brand servo but i have heard quite a few people say the orion servos are the same thing . and the orion servos arent bad they will hold up fine on a 1/8 buggy.

yea i would go for it it does have expressive torque.
cant beat that price and with titanuim gears !

i have the 20kg servo for my steering and i have had it for about a year now and it is still going strong. i have had to decrease my epa because this thing turns so well because i used to hit the inside of the corner because of the amazing speed and power. get one and give it a try you won't regret it!

ēnd! A lot of ppl are running Savox here. I haven't heard much complaints about them. I personally run always Hitec. Never had problems with my servo, the Hitec customer service is awesome, my LHS has them in stock and I always get discounts over there. So buying my Hitec's from my LHS in Europe is cheaper then order them online at Amain :weird:

We sell quite a bit of teh Savox servos, and have never heard anything but the BEST of feedback from racers

My buddy uses them with no problems. I'm getting ready to switch out all my hitches to savox.

I sent 3 broken hitechs in for warranty. They replaced one and sent the other two back with a note that they were fine. Last night I tested them and they are still broken. I don't have time for that.

They look like they hold up great. A guy at our local track has the high speed in his 1/8 buggy for throttle and steering and they hold up great. He beats the snot outta his vehicles and hasnt had an issue with these servos yet.

Only thing I would be worried about is warrenty service. Haven't heard any bad things but then again havent heard any good. Usually newer companies are really good with warrenty repair work but who knows.

For the price those servos look good. I like how fast they are too, but that could be a bad thing to I guess.

Does any one know if they have a office in the US, just curious about waranty repairs and where there located at.

Savox has a 1 year written warranty :-)

Wow

Thanks fo the feedback guys. I thought they may be the same as Orion, but they look so sweet in orange, and I looked at th titanium gear sets and every gear was solid, and no plastic little gear...

I also liked that they use futaba splines so the regular horns I have fit it. Bonus...

Not bad prices either, about 20-60 bucks cheaper than other brands with the same specs....

Are they a European company?

RDOUBLEDAY 08-27-2010 06:14 PM

Yes they are European
