Team Orion Servos

I just got the Vortex VDS-2015 for steering and am debating putting my Hitec aside for the Vortex VDS-1007 for throttle. I haven't ran it at the track yet but ran a tank in my front yard. The quality seems really great over all.

Anyone have experience with these servos? Or know the Longevity?

Hi, I use the orion, VDS-1409 for steering and VDS-1007 for T/B since a year, and they still perform great.
Not problem at all using a Protek LiFe receiver pack.
Regards.

I use the vds1007 in my rb5 sp2 buggy and it works great, high torque and speed, and I just purchased one for my zx5 fs2. I highly recomend orion servos.

It's been a while i'm using a coupple of 1409 to steer an X-ray T3r and an Hyper10SC ,also have a 2015 in an Xray 808,never had problems, there's meaby a little more power consumption than other servo's but these do the job better than many others.
Good speed and a lot of torqe for the 2015.When i used the 1409 on the throttle/brake for nitro i had excesive speed so the carb was having to much air,i needed to slow it down from the transmitter in order to have it set porperly for the air/gas mixture.
These servo's are renamed Savox's with improved PCB.
