A Switch Dilemma

I recently got my new Serpent 811 Cobra - I am new to the offroad scene after building the mechanical components I got to the fun bit the electronics - now this is my dilemma - serpent put a slot in the carbonfibre for a switch for the radio electronics ok - but I never used one i'm used to the old system of plug to plug - i was told is the safest way - any ideas - also if a switch is used charging is carried out how? FEEDBACK apreciated

Some switches have an extra lead on them used for charging. It's personal preference. I've seen some cases where the switch somehow gets bumped during a race, shutting off the vehicle and causing a runaway. I've seen other cases where the battery in a switchless setup gets unplugged causing the same scenario.

just use deans. then zip tie the connector(for a decent long main if your worried about it.) dont make the zip tie competely tight.
