12v Battery charge question

3 Attachment(s)
I have a 12v battery in my starter box and i hate opening the box to take out the 12v battery to charge it. So i cut off the aligator clips off from the 12v charger i have and replace it with a female ultra dean plug. I also connected a wire to my 12v battery with the other end having a female ultra dean plug as well. In order to connect the battery charger to the 12v battery so i can charge it, i needed to do a separate wire with 2 male dean plugs to connect both the charger and 12v battery. Now my question is... Will the dean plugs melt when i put the 12v battery to charge for 10-12hr from my house outlet? Will this be any problem?

Nope, not a prob, the current you're charging with is less than an amp (0.5amp), its a wall type trickle charger.

Deans will be more than enough, they're rated a lot higher than 0.5amp.
