Tekin Hotwire question
I just want to make sure before I do this.
Can I use a splitter on the ESC wire to the receiver to connect my hotwire module? I don't want to constantly plug and unplug my esc wire from my receiver. I'm assuming this is not an issue, but I wanted to make sure it wouldn't eff up my receiver. |
Good day!
You can use an extention wire then one end of the extention would stay in the rx. You can not use a Y harness. |
Can you please elaborate on the extension wire -vs- y-harness?
I was thinking they are the same thing. |
With a Y-splitter, your ESC, receiver and steering servo will be hooked up to the Hot Wire. You only want the ESC and Hot Wire connected for programming.

JR makes a 2in extension

Not trying to be difficult, just trying to get an understanding. |
The Hot Wire is going also to be connected to receiver and servo via the Y splitter. You're programming the ESC, not the receiver or servo(s) also connected to the receiver.

Okay, I get ya.
Thanks for the help. |
