How to set up a servo sequence
Hello everyone-
Well, this forum has been a great help since I started in the RC world, but here, I'm stuck. Hope some of you can provide me with some directions! I would like to have 3 servos executing a sequence, one after another, with "one button". Is there a way to program such thing? 1) Open hatch 2) Drop 3) Close hatch Using the AUX channel, on for starting sequence, off for reverse, in a specific order. I do not know if some radios do offer this function, that may be a solution too. Am I aiming too high, or is something like this possible? (without fiddling too much with electronics?) Thanks for your help! |
Wouldn't "open hatch" and "close hatch" be the same servo, just rotating in opposite direction for each action? So really you would only need 2 servos total.
Sorry that I can't help you with how to accomplish it, but it can no doubt be accomplished, it's just a matter of how easy or complex will it be. There are people who build very realistic planes and boats that have multiple rotating gun turrets and bomb droppings, retractable landing gear, etc. Might be best to find out from some of the plane guys how to get your setup working. |
