Sporadic throttle servo response?

Hi everyone, new to this forum and have a question for all of the electronics wizards out there!

My Revo is still using the Traxxas radio and recently developed an issue...the throttle servo at times won't respond to throttle inputs-seems to react correctly more often when the trigger movement is rapid-90% of the time, when I pull the trigger slowly, the servo won't move at all or will only move to 1/4 throttle or so and stay there.

I've checked the obvious stuff...no linkage binding, batteries are all fresh, no connection or broken wire issues to be found, no interference issues from other radios etc...

This issue is throttle related only-no steering problems at all.

does this mean my transmitter is going? I've been looking for a reason to buy another radio!

Thanks in advance for any input for a newbie!

Try swapping in your steering servo for the throttle servo and see if it still acts funny. If it doesn't, your throttle servo is shot. If it does, then the problem is with your radio/receiver; assuming there's no binding in your linkages.

10-4, thanks for the help...I'll swap the servos and see what happens-already eliminated the linkage issue by unhooking it from the servo.
