Hitec's. And if you're burning them up, you're doing something wrong.;)

I remember reading when they were first released that the, 7940's had some problems, but if memory recalls it was gear failure. The 7950's were good to go, and A ton of guys run the 7955's unreg lipo with no troubles, and those servos are BULLET Proof... Assuming you set the EPA correctly..

If you are considering a JR, then think again, those are the most failure prone HV Servo out.. I know 1 guy that has gone through 4 of 400oz $200 JR HV's, he switched to Futaba on a Reg.. And basically all the other guys I've talked to about the JR HV servos have had troubles..

Only trouble I've had with a HiTec was a 5985 that was fixed under warranty, motor and main gear went bad, I used it for steering for a season, then moved it to Throttle for a season, went out at the last race of the season, as the race ended..

HiTec 7955TG for sure.

one of the hitec servo works but it is like it has a broken connection in side as it will stop and you tap it then it works then stop at half travel etc. i am sending them in at the moment for a warranty repair but wanted to ask the q about what is best. the other just stopped dead and it was on my throtle it was half way thru a race went this happened.

Hitec HV servos are the best on the market. If your burning these up you are not setting up your EPA and linkage up correctly. I am very hard on servos and burnt up alot of servos. These Hitec servos rock.

When the jr hv servos first came out I put them in my buggy and truggy and within 3 races I had one fail so I ripped them all out and went with the 7950/7940 from hitec. They have worked perfectly. I do have to say the jr servos are very pretty to look at :D but they either work or don't right out of te box. Look at the pro guys most of them run hitec servos there's. Reason for that.

I have been very happy with my JR HV servos. I burned up a lot of 9100T's (9 last season) and JR finally replaced them with the HV servos for me. I have had no failures and have been running them for almost a year now in my losi 2.0. I also have a 7955 that I run in my losi 2.0E and it a great servo and at a good $.

They replaced ALL 9 of them with HV ?

No i did not have 9 servos. I had 5 servos(2 in buggy, 2 truggy and spare) and between them all they failed 9 times. They replaced 2 with HV and i sold the other 3.
