I had the M11... liked it... not as much as my M8 tho. Then i bought a DX3R... omg... amazing. Super light, lasts for days on 4 AA's, and has everything anyone would ever need to adjust.

Its also relatively inexpensive too.

I used nothing but Airtronics for years (since the early 1990's) and once you understood "how they label things" you were set, But a couple of years ago I was out at the hobby show and pickup the DX3R and was sold from the second on.

I have set both of my ISC speed records (101mph and 126mph) using this same radio. I use an 1100 foot run up and have had very few issues with range even at that large of a distance.

Both are great radios, but a huge difference in weight. Mostly personal preference. The M11 would be somewhat dependent on which module you plan to use. If you use a Spektrum module the DX3R would be faster.

If you do get a DX3R, strongly suggest at least trying the optional Big Grip. Really improves the feel, holds it a little higher relative to the trigger. I also like the Dynamite wheels, with a thinner foam that doesn't squirm around.
