KO Propo receiver question

Does anyone know what are the differences between the 407S, 408S and 409S receivers?

The KO Propo website doesn't explain.

From what I know and have been told the 407 and 409 are very much the same in speed, but the 407 has less range.I'm not sure the 408 will perform DDS mode. At least what the papers that came with the manual say. 407 is cheaper to buy. I have one in my B4 and havent had a problem and I'm running the Eurus radio.

Thank you. I am not sure what DDS mode is, my manual (EX10 Helios) doesn't utter a word about any of these receivers even though my radio came (I bought it brand new) with a 408S. My manual just rants on about the old FM receivers. if you know where I can find an updated version of the manual, please let me know.

D.D.S. means Direct Digital System and is something that was released with the EX-10 Eurus. It is a much faster signal processing system but requires the use of a D.D.S. compatible receiver and digital servos. With those you can except a 30% increase in response time.

KR-210S, KR-407S, KR-409S are the same speed. The difference is KR-409S uses an user replaceable coxial cable for antenna to improve reception. The KR-210S is 2 channels.

I emailed kopropo before but can't seem to find the email now.

I am more interested in a comparison between the 408S and the rest, as I have the 408S now and need to buy another receiver. The antenna is user replaceable on the 408S too. My Radio is a Helios, so I suppose no DDS for me then. And all my servos are digital anyway.

The EX 10 Helios does not have DDS. Only the EX-10 Eurus. The Helios is an older radio. You probally got a EX-10 helios with the optional 2.4 ghz module and receiver.

Pass you soon...

If you have the Helios then it wouldn't make much differences

This is what you are probably looking for

TenzoR- thanks for posting the link to the chart. You are also correct about the speeds.

The KR-408S will not accept a response speed faster then Normal in the DDS system, but will operate in all response speeds for all our other Tx's that do not use the DDS system.

Thank you everybody. I have looked at that table on the KOpropo website, you have to accept that the table doesn't suggest what other radios do with the modules (the table pertains to Eurus alone) and if DDS was or not available on the Helios. Thank you for clarifying that.

So I understand the 408S is just a basic (even below the 210S) receiver then. Dang.
