DX3R Problems
 

Hello, I recently converted my 1/8 scale buggy to electric, after soldering up my motor and esc i went to set my servo and speed control up. The servo is responsive, however the response time is delayed and amid random twitching back and forth. It is a digital servo and the framerate is set accordingly. There is a monitor function on the dx3r's menu, and without any input from the throttle or steering, i can see it jumping around. I have no idea what is going on, it is a new controller and has worked fine for the week i have had it. I checked the batch number and it is not an early model apparently notorious for unbinding. Also, I am using a Sr3100 receiver, brand new. I have been through the binding process a handful of times now, and tried to reset the setting on the transmitter. The servo is fine, ive tried a number of servos. Any ideas will be much appreciated.

sounds like a battery problem, low voltage will do that to mine, either on the radio or reciever. is the speed control supplying power to the reciever? bad connection? just a few ideas

Have you tried moving the transmitter away from the car. Normally when setting stuff up we have the transmitter and the car only a few feet from each other and I have seen them act really weird. Try stepping a few feet away and see if that clears up your problems.

Problem fixed...Total noob here lol, I accidently reset the remote without calibrating it...Thanks for the replies nonetheless.
