mmp bullet adapters.
 

i have the dbx ve and i figured the mmp wires would fit the stock 2080 motor wires but the mmp connectors are loose over the orion male connectors. thanks

Sounds like you need to solder new connectors onto one or the other (or both). It's best to change the smaller one to fit the larger one because larger bullets generally handle higher currents better than smaller ones.

wow, i just read my post and i left a whole sentence out, but looks like you knew what i was talkin bout. yeah i figured id have to put some new ones on but my soldering skills suck and i was hoping i could put something over the smaller bullet to make it a snugg fit.

It's possible, but probably not a good idea. More connections = higher resistance and a higher chance of something popping off. If you have a local hobby shop, you could take it to them and see if they could solder it up for you. I don't imagine it would cost much, but it doesn't hurt to ask :nod:.

They make bullet adapters for adapting between sizes if you don't want to solder new bullets. I'm using a set to adapt between a Castle MM and a Velineon 3500 motor. I didnt want to change the connectors since I will eventually sell the Velineon motor.

Not sure which you need, guessing this one - there are others made to cover most situations, so just look for the ones you need -

hey duster thats exactly what i need. but how bad will it hender my setup if i put them on.

These are professionally done. They don't heat up at all so any reistance they added is minimal. I don't think you'll notice anything. The wires will be a little longer with the adapters is prob about it.

alright, just got them from hobbytown. got the ole lady to run by their on the way home. lol. worked like a champ. thanks for your help fellas.
