KO PROPO / Spektrum Help

I have a KO PROPO Helios with a Spektrum SM1000 DSM module (says KO PROPO in small print across the module label). I then purchased a Spektrum SR3000 recv'er (Universal). I keep trying to bind the two but keep getting an audible alarm from my ESC which would indicate a connection failure. I am able to go back and everything is fine with my old AM system.

I'm just using a Tamiya RTR M03 chassis.

Anyone have any suggestions or am I going thru the binding process wrong?

1) Turn on Radio with module button pressed (released once I have a solid light)
2) Turn on car with receiver button pressed (just blinks green), also ESC audible alarm continues to beep

You have to put the receiver into the bind mode first. Then you do the transmitter. From what you wrote above the problem is you are doing this in the wrong order.

Spektrum SM3001 Module Pro series

Hi, does any one know which receivers are compatible with this module, I'm using a KO Mars EX1, thanks,

If the light on the receiver is green then it seems there is a connection. Does the steering servo work?

As always advised when changing TX/RX on an ESC you need to re-calibrate the ESC, the beeping is probably a warning of a wrong detection of the neutral TX neutral position.

For the Pro series TX module I know of two matching receivers.
The SR3001 RX which is the one which came with the Pro series set. A bit on the larger side .
The SR3500 Micro RX which is around half of the size.

The SR3000 also works, the only model that will not work is the SR3000HRS receiver.

Specktrum 3000, 3001 only , Sr300 , SR200 are different bind process
Press and hold bind button on RX and hold turn on RX .
Rease button light will flash
Press and hold bing button on radio module.
turn transmitter on holding bind button
release bind button after light turns green and flashes and wait a few seconds
If done correct both lights turn solid bind complete.
