will 604 reciever work with 3pk
 

Okay had a 603 reciever go out have a extra 604 from my 4pk so I need to know if it will work with the 3pk so my son can use his radio and not mine

604 is C2 version , cannot work with 3pk (C1 version).

If you know should I bother sending it back to have it repaired or buy another one cost wise?

I don't know what the deal is with the 2.4 rcvrs, but the FM PCM rcvrs I've had repaired were on a set fee type deal and it was a no brainer, $25 against the cost of a new one for $85-90. Thsi has been years ago and the wait may now be a factor too, I had mine back in a few weeks back then.
