Looking For A Bit Of Radio Advice

I'm looking at a Futaba 3-ch radio system for a possible replacement for the RTR radio in a Nitro TC4. What do I need to do in order to fully replace the radio in this, because I'm gonna guess it's not a simple "switch the receiver and radio" job. I could definitely use some help with this, thanks!

If you go with am FM tx/rcvr (like 3PM) its just a matter of unplugging your old recvr, removing same, mounting the new rcvr, running the new antenna, then plugging everything back in correctly, steering, th/brake and battery. Then setting end points to limit steering travel and th/brake travel too. That will require a little reading in the manual to find out how to make the adjustments.

If you go with a FAAST setup (like 3PM-X), still pretty much the same except you have to bind the rcvr and the tx together which takes all of a few minutes.

The receiver I'm looking at is this one here:

Go here and dn load the manual -

Read pages 22 - 25 to give you an idea of what is involved in installing and setting one of these up.
