Using 2 ESC on a Single battery pack?

I'm just wondering if it's possible to run 2 esc like an MC230cr on a single 6cell nimh battery pack? Coz I'm planning on using two esc for my tamiya twin detonator w/c could run better faster motors than a sport tuned motor. If yes, what type of battery connector should I need to assemble? Thanks.

Also, let's say you can ran two esc with two motors on a single battery pack. Is it possible to run both esc with just one receiver sharing one channel with the use of a Y-connector?

Why not use two batteries instead?
-Two batteries would be too heavy on a Twin detonator.

Why not get an EVX2 esc and set it to run on a single battery pack?
-It's quite hard to find and EVX esc here in my country. I could have it import but then the cost would be too high by then.

better to run an open motor ESC and run 2 motors on it either in parallel or in series rather than 2 ESCs. Did that before with a Novak GTX and 2 HPI 23T motors on my e-savage, no problems, ESC got a bit warm though but adding a fan solved it.
