lipo charge
 
what should i charge my lipo at it is a 2 cell 5000 i am charging as right now at 2.0 7.4 volt 2 cell

5 amps is 1c charge rate for any 5000mah lipo and is considered a safe charge rate.
2 amps is 1c charge rate for any 2000mah lipo.

The label on the lipo should tells you what it is safe to charge at. It will say 1C or 2C charing capable or something like that. the C is just the capacity(Mah)/1000 so as already pointed out the 1C charge rate for a 5000mah is 5amps. A 2C rate would be 10amps. Some of this is tied up in what your charger is actually capable of doing as far as charging amps and output power.



BTW, it doesn't hurt anything to charge at a lower rate than a 1C rate.
