i have a turnigy 4s lipo and one of the cells died so now i want ot takethat cell off and make it into a 3 cell. how do i do this?

you just need to unsolder the bad cell and redo the balance wires. the turnigy use boards to connect the cells. be careful if you try this as you can short out the pack.

If you're not comfortable opening a lipo up, I wouldn't advise trying. You'll have to unsolder the bad cell to release it and eliminate its balance wire. You'll need to re-heatshrink it when you finish or wrap it in something like the fiber reinforced strapping tape.
