FHSS-2 or DSSS ??
i have 2 sanwa exzes plus radios (airtronics to you guys :) )
radio 1: has the DSSS system fitted, TM-221DS module + 441DS receiver radio 2: has the FHSS system fitted, TM-222DS module + 442DS receiver im guessing since the model number is larger on radio 2 thats the latest one? anyone have any idea which one should be better? which receiver should run cooler etc and which is most likely to get interference or thermal etc? any info appreciated cheers dave |
fhss module!!!!

fhss is better or more likely to thermal? |
better range and stable!!
|
i have had no problems with my dsss set,but i managed to get a new sanwa with the fhss-2 system in it,cant afford to keep both so have to sell one.
so if the fhss-2 is better i will keep that. does the receiver get any warmer than the dsss set since it is channel hopping all the time? |
a little bit!!

You will see the benefits of FHSS if the area where you operate the system has a lot of nearby 2.4GHz signals. Other than that you won't see much benefit of FHSS over DSSS.

I am currently using a Futaba 3PK with Fasst system, ie. frequency hopping.
I have sometimes issues with interference, (" killed " 2 race meetings last year for me). Thats why i was thinking about a radio with DSSS. Now, the posts here are saying again FSSS is better:( Is just the Futaba system not working? What would you buy? M11 DSSS M11 FHSS-2 or even better M11X FHSS-3? I'm desperate... btw: What system is Ko Propo using? |
ko propo is a dsss sytem
buy a m11x ,have made the move and this radio is really good before a was on futaba 3mp 3,4ghz and the m11x just beat hand down the futaba system!! |
