Hitec and Xray XB8....

Ok guys here's my deal - I've got the XB8TQ buggy, and a Hitec 5645 servo handling throttle/brake duties. It would work GREAT if I had a servo horn that fit properly. Is there a servo horn out there that will fit without clearance issues for the brake linkage (Xray has it setup in a stack configuration as opposed to a side by side for the brakes). I'd really like an aluminum one, because I always seem to burn through the composite ones.

I used a plastic one, but just did a little trimming on it. I never tried the aluminum horn.

If I remember correctly on the XB8 we had to put a thin washer under the horn to raise it just enough for the lower brake linkage to clear.

I use this and just trim off the third arm. Plenty of clearance.
