What servos?

I just bought a rc8 and a dynamite platnium engine. I am wondering what servos to buy? I heard that the hi tecs are good and the jrs. What models do I get?

If you are going to race and wish your car to do what you want then get 2 hitech 7955's and enjoy 3-6 years of never having to worry about your servos

+1 on the hitec 7955, and for throttle you can run the hitec 645, i have been using mine for about a year and have zero problems. i also have a $40 JR for throttle and its 3 months old and already giving problems.

+1 see sig. (5955 is older version of 7955) That is all I run, and have never had a problem with 2+ years of serious abuse on them.

+1 for hitec i use 7995 for steering and a 7940th for throttle. I tried a 9100s and had to send it back 3 times. Hitec setup exactly the same 0 problems.

I use the JR 9100T for steering in my buggy, two years now and ZERO issues, had a Futaba doing the throttle and brake duties....that didnt last long, switched to the Hitec, and LOVE it....I'd reccomend either the JR's of the Hitec's....can't go wrong with either one in my opionion!

jammin32j 05-06-2010 07:35 PM
