Default What a joke

I contacted them too for a shipping quote. Yeah, I think I'll avoid them too.

It's funny how quickly they responded to my query about shipping.

I contacted them, rcsmart, for a shipping quote to the US while the 3B was still showing on their site as available. Got a very fast response and was quoted $20 USD shipping and was suposed to order "manually" by email, but I hesitated, and I'm glad I did.

I contacted r2hobbies about the radio and they knew nothing about it, so I sent them a link to it. They said they might have it soon.

I think rcsmart needs to change their name to rcdumb, cuz they won't have any customers for long this way....

Default There is a bright side to this

At least forums like this get the word out there...I believe most potential buyers out there try to do some research before they buy items like this, so threads such as this one really help other decide who to buy from.

Sorry you had to be the guinea pig!!!

If I were you I would send them a link to this thread just to let them know they’re being watched.

Never mind. The P.I.A. factor on this radio is too great. I just picked up an airtronics 2.4 ghz system for only a couple bucks more than this would have cost me.So now I have 4 flysky receivers that are brand new that I have no use for (will work with gt2,gt3, or gt3B) so the first person to give me $20.00 for them shipped in the lower 48 gets them!!Drop me a PM if you want them!

so have any of these actually shipped from the factory yet? been watching this thread since i found out about this radio (here) looking at GT3 info, i'm in the UK and we have a seller who has good feedback (but is in hong kong) advertising them for sale and it's the £ equivalent of $10 more than the old GT3

i cant post links but it's ebay UK item number 380267127126 theres some good pics of the display on that listing too you guys might be interested to look even if not to buy.. really good pics i haven't seen before unlike the other ebay listing who i reckon got those pics from google

I can afford to wait as i have radio (27mhz) and my first brushless car is possibly 2 months from completion but i LIKE the look of this radio.. all the time i was looking at the gt3 i was thinking dang if only it was shaped more like the GT2 rather than a KO from 15 years ago..and flysky were working on THAT

I just bought a GT3B off ebay from seller "force-control". Same seller as skree posted. I went through a US priced listing:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=380267128696

It was $68 shipped to the US. This radio certainly looks interesting. From the screen shots it has all the options that people use (Model naming, EPA, EXPO, Dual Rate, etc). If range is good and the fail safe works correctly then this may be one heck of a deal, especially with the ~$7 receivers.
