What esc are you trying to update. The steps are for the version 2.0 or 2.1 of the 120A esc. If you are running the short coarse or 1/8 version I do no know what the software versions are out for these controllers. Also I think it was posted on here somewhere that the latest version of the short coarse software does not have boost or turbo timing.

I just hooked my SCT pro up to the computer and there was no other filmwares that should up on the screen. I talked to Angelo last week and he said the SCT pro doesn't use boost/turbo. Maybe the 150amp is the same way because I believe that was designed for 1/8 scale buggy type cars. Where you wouldn't need the boost/turbo features.

Just tested my V3 yesterday. Motor seems to run cooler at the same speed as my V2.1. Maybe its something to do with the 'Boost based on throttle input' thingy which was on. Short of time to mess with 'Boost Curve'. Anyone tried that yet? Any improvement?

Still having problems with this, seems any more than zero timing with this motor and it cogs badly.I have tried 2 brand new motors and both the same, looks like I have waisted my money on this speedie and should have stuck with the old model. There are no adjustments anywhere to adjust frequency that I can find.
If anyone has any ideas please reply.
Cheers.

I'm going to have to try this on my x12. If I was to put the max timing insert in, gear down two teeth, keep the esc settings the same and work from there would that be a good place to start?

and is your X12 still alive?

then V1.00_091116a_U is the latest firmware for that ESC.
The big Xerun 80 and 150A ESC don't have boosted firmware yet......
If you connect any HW ESC to there software, it will recognise the hardware version of the ESC, and automatically shows the available firmware for that particular ESC.

Im having problems with the brakes on my car. Im running a Xtreme stock ESC with a SP V3 17.5 1S motor.

I feel like the brake are a little weak, it almost feels like they are laggy. Ill start braking and feels like nothing, nothing, nothing, then the cars starts pulling up

Im running 100% brake force and 100% reverse on the ESC with 5 % drag brake and initial b/force is set at drag brake. I have had the initial set at 40% but it didnt feel that much better so i put it back to drag brake.

Any suggestions?

From what im finding more brakes on speedo isnt giving me more brakes, and the reason for your lag is the reverse force. Put the reverse force back to 25%, brakes on 87.5% and the most imprtant part, Make sure your re bind the speedo back to your transmitter with 100% brakes set (on the transmitter). Once you have done this lower it back down to 80% (Transmitter) and try then. In 17.5 ive seen cars run 50% brake on the speedy and have plenty.

HTH
