So for those friends can not read Chinese but can't wait for the English instruction , please note the following changes.

1. Boost timing and turbo timing degree totally 60. This makes the setting of timing degree more accurate.(boost 0-60, turbo 0-40,if total degree more than 60,some of degrees are merged.)
2. Turbo slope rate has 6 options, which can adjust the speed of releasing total turbo timing.
3.boost timing acceleration (timing punch) from 50 to 750 RPM/degree.

Hope this can help you. Sorry for my English not good.

I just downloaded Hobbywing_USB_Link_setup_V1.63_110119......however I can't see the 0119Stock on the dropdown menu, the usual stock fw are there like 1224.

I've read this remark earlier, to also set reverse to 100%, even if you don't use reverse, but I can't feel any difference under braking, so I think this was a bug in any of the earlier firmware versions.
Shawn, do you feel a difference?
Also with flashing the ESC, some say you have to flash it 2 times, is this still needed?

Ok. Played around with the brake settings tonight, and the reverse bug is definately fixed. Ran the reverse setting at 25%, and the brakes at 100% car stops incredably fast. Eventualy setting for 75% of the ESC, and 75% on the radio. (65% total braking?)

Lots of brakes.

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Hi Terry we have the gunmetal 13.5's in stock for immediate delivery if it helps...

Sorry for my enforced absence however my wife has been diagnosed with a degenerative brain/nerve disorder and my studies have taken up the rest of my time. I am here to help if you need it(PM) but guess Cobra has it all pretty much covered. We will take the time to destruction test the new software to see how far we can push the equipment and update you soonish.

Absolutely no problem I always have all the HW stuff with me each meeting.

scytherat 01-23-2011 03:14 AM

Its probably me being stupid but all these new updates have confused me. Is 119 an upgrade to 224 which was an upgrade of 518. Is this right?
