Transponders??
There are 2 styles of scoring systems used around my area and I was curious if I am thinking right?
AMB system is the most popular? and my question is the track that is closest to me runs the I-LAP system and I was on the website and it states that "Works with most AMB™ compatible race timing software" SO can I buy an ILAP transponder and use it at tracks with AMB scoring?? thanks |
Yes you can. but they are on back order for a while now. my brother ordered his mine and friends at the beginning of march and called the other day because we still have not recieved them yet and they said it would be toward the end of may for the people who ordered them a while back. so it COULD be even longer for you.

The receiving hardware of the ILap system can use any race program/software that is compatible with an AMB system. Two totally different systems... you need to buy a transponder for each. |
oops sorry i that we were talking about the MY LAPS transponders. i ordered mine from my laps will work with the reg amb system. my laps bought them out but are still compatible with all the other amb systems. not sure about the i laps though
