protek life rx pack?
 
what charge rate is safe to charge these at, no paperwork with battery, they
are 1700 mah. are they like a lipo 1000mah = 1amp charge rate? i do have a life charger. thanx, Pat:confused:

These are safe to charge at 3 or 4c. You should try to stat closer to 1c if charging within the radio box and to maximize the lifespan.

You may also have current issues at 4c with smaller gauge wires.

1.7 amp (1C) recommended for the first 20 charges. After that up to 5.1 amp (3C).

Do you have a charger that does LiFe or A123 batteries?

Their voltage is different than Lipos so the cutoff isn't the same 3.3V vs. 3.7. The good news is that LiFe seem to be able to take an overcharge and not blow up.
