lrp sxx boost question????? need some input!!
 

just recently bought the new sxx stock spec and love it.i am using it with the x12 13.5.when i go from boost level 2 to level 3 the increase from just one level is drastic!! is there anyway that i can tame this thing down on level 3.the reason for asking is that on level 2 its really mild than when i get to level 3 its way out of control.almost to the point that i cant control it under full throttle down the straights.i can only imagine what it would be like on level 4-10.

any input would be greatly helpful.

Most everyone is running it on 4 with that motor. 2 is for mod motors, 3 and up is for spec motors. If it is too much punch try #1 feel and put like -20% throttle expo, that should smooth it out a lot and it will still have the same top speed.

your talking about boost on 4 correct? and also would 3 on profile be too much? this is in a b4 factory team.the punch is ok but when the boost kicks in its a gets uncontrollable. thats the issue im having.

Ah you are racing off road. That explains it. I was talking to some guys at ae and they said it was too fast also LOL!! Maybe stay with boost 2 or strangely enough try a 17.5:)

i talked with them today as well and the recommend that i use the 4 dot timing insert thats in the motor.i will give it a shot as well.the guys at the cactus classic were using this as well so we shall see :nod:
