im on the 8th tekin since nov. and cant figure out whats going on. ive had 1 day that it ran 3 heats and a main other than that its been broken the entire time or would run 5 min and break again. it always seens to be a board problem you can flick the case and the lights come back on and then go out, i cant believe that they cant come up with a better mounting system or some kind of support for the boards inside those two little foam pieces are a joke. prob get it fixed again and sell it when i get it back, summers for nitro anyway.

I don't think they've been that bad, they're not trouble free, but its a small percentage. My 3 have been good, no trouble.

THe XErun seems to be popular maybe Mailk or Reaper can help you. I have a ezrun 80amp that I have yet to race with but have ran 3-4 batts thru , no troubles.

BTW, I hope to make it to your track this summer.

Mine has been operating fine and has stayed below 100 degrees F even after 15-20 minutes of continuous use.

I've got three, no problems what-so-ever out of any of them. If I was going to buy another esc tomorrow, I'd pick up another one.

My MMM has worked great with no problems what so ever. I've also run the Orion Vortex 8 esc and it too has been great...I've noticed it's smoother than the MMM and both are sensorless. The fan goes on instantly which keeps it cool unlike the MMM where it goes on when the esc reaches 150. Both have been great to me so far!

The MMM is still not reliable, especially above 4s Lipo. Had 2 go myself, a good mate went through 7 and was pretty much accused of everything, poor set up, bad batteries etc etc. We put a "cheap" Hobbywing 150A in 6 mths ago and it;s still ticking, nothing else was changed so you tell me......

This seems to be a big questino these days. I have been running the orion system for a while and its great, have to shoe goo the caps though. My buddy runs the xcelorin and its the updated unit with the new firmware and it works great too. The MMM from what I have heard last about 3-6 months. The tekins go anywhere from 1-20 packs worth. This is just what i have seen first hand. We usually get 3 heats of 8th a night so we do have a lot to go off of.They will get these figured out at some point. Until then, be patient and get one that has a longer life expectancy and if and when it blows, send it in for service.
