problem with spektrum dx6i
 

my screen seems to only work when its cold....i turn the transmitter on i get a screen for a few seconds and then a line....this stinks the guy who traded it to me said he would put it in the freezer to get it to work...????
any help would be greatly appreciated.

and he also told me i could find a replacement screen...wich is not the case at all....i cant find one?
why would it work when cold...sounds like a soldering problem...?
im just scared to take it apart...its bound to my blade 400...and if it loses the bind i cant see the menu on the screen to get to the bind mode....
