DX3 range

hi,

Does anyone know the range on the very first Spektrum DX3 radio? Mine seems to cut out at about 100 meters

not sure but i'm going to say on the safe side 150 feet.

I think I remember somewhere horizon hobby saying it that the DSM systems are from 100' to 300' or so... could be wrong but I am pretty sure it was.
