Question about Specktrum receiver
1 Attachment(s)
Hey guys I have a question.
I have a http://www.spektrumrc.com/Products/D...ProdID=SPM3160 ( DX3E ) and i have it running on my 1/12th car. Well right now I have a ESC (GTX) steering servo, and AMB transponder hooked to it right now. I just switched over to 1s lipos ( single cell ) and I need to run a receiver pack or better yet a novak smartboost for my receiver and servo to get the required 6v/3A power. I checked the manual and it stated in it that you can hook the included receiver pack into the batt option on the receiver. The receiver is the SR300. But at the bottom of my receiver it does not say batt. it says bind. This is what I used to bind the receiver to the transmitter. My transponder is hooked up in the AUX slot. What should I do? Can I hook the smart boost up in the bind slot? Thanks for the help. |

Thanks for the response. I feel much better now. I thought that was the case, but was not sure.
Thanks again for you response. |
You will also have to un-hook or clip the red wire from the GTX going to the receiver if you are using the external battery or smart boost. Leave the black wire and white wire connected as you normally would.

Thanks I did not know that.
So just take the red wire, from the small plug that goes into the receiver? Leave teh black and white? I thought that's what gave the signal to and from the ESC to Receiver? So now I am guessing it's the power wire. |
