M8 vs 3pk

I have a M8 with spectrum and I have a 3pk 2.4 on the way. What I need to know is which one is better and why? Also its going in a xb808 if that makes a differance.

Does the 3pk have the 2.4ghz built in or does it have a module that converts like the M8? If it is built in, it will be faster because the modules have to take the signal created by the radio and convert it. (at least thats what the Spektrum guys from Horizon claim.)

Other than that, I always have preferred the Airtronics stuff to Futaba, but that's just personal preference and a very bad experience with Futaba customer service years ago.

It is the 3pk with the fasst module and receivers.
