esc problem

I have a mamba max esc and 5700 motor combo, which I was finally able to run today. Since I just switched to lipo I set my LVC and since I have never ran this I dont know. I was running fine, plenty of powered and then when the throttle was applied the esc would only flash a green light. What does this indicate? Does that mean the LVC kicked in and the battery needs to be charged? I looked in the book and didn't see anyting about it. Anyone know?

Yiu don't provide enouigh detail to tell what's going on from the lights, but here is a listing of all the codes for all teh combinations and what the mean -

Looks like that is low battery indication. You know you need to charge the lipo before you run it when you get it? They are sold with only a partial charge.

I charged and balanced the battery before I ran it and I did know that they came 70 to 80 percent charged. As far as more information goes I am unsure what is needed.

5700 mamba combo
traxxas stampede
2s 30c lipo
geared 15p 87spur
80% punch
lvc at 6volts
When applying thorttle light begins to flash green and does nothing but still have steering.

With the punch setting are you looking to kill 20% of the power or 80% - the setting is confusing and may seem backwards. I'm not sure how this works electrically as far as voltage is concerned.

I run a 2S 5000mah 30C Intellect lipo with my Sidewinder/5700 combo in a Slash, but I use 0 on punch and easily get 25-30min run time with lvc set at 3.2v/cell.

Just off hand teh only thing that seems unusual is your punch setting.
