Airtronics M8 screen
 

Hi,

I have an Airtronics M8 That Ive been using for about three years that I bought used and it does everything that I need to to and I have been more than happy with it , Unfortuntaly the screen on it is starting to crap out and half of the pixels are not showing up. I have no problem doing electronics work and was wondering if there was anyplace that I could go to get a replacement screen for the radio. I thought I read somewhere about someone doing this but cant find it anywhere. Any help is aprreciated

Edit-- after posting this I checked on ebay for the 50 millionth time looking for a screen and there was one on ebay... now I just have to win.

Did you ever get this resolved, i have the same issue.

Go to Global Servies Parts System m8. They have replacement screens you can replace yourself for $60.50. I replaced mine about a month ago.

Geez, the radio is barely worth that much! :confused::confused:

For those interested, you can find the parts on the Hobby people website.

If you like the m8 and want to keep it. Its worth it. I have 2 of them and will not use anything else.

I want to move up to the Futaba 4PK, but the cash flow just ain't there! :cry::cry: might have to try this out.

They have the parts you need to rebuild one.
