servo and esc???
 

Hello,

im really sorry for the stupid question!!! but i am a novice in this...
i was given an xray m18mt by a friend, i want to know!!! what is the servo for??? and can the esc take its place??

i have the mamba25 by castle creations but no servo!! and the car works just fine!! now, the mamba25 i think i understand that is the esc.... but then what is the servo for??

i am really sorry but i am new to this and dont understand much at all, but i guess i need to start somewhere

the esc is what controls your speed, basically the brains towards your throttle and brakes. the servo is your steering. you need this to run it.
