Servo Question

I am just getting into the hobby of racing, Have been bashing my rtr M.T. around for years.
With that said, I am looking into buying a buggy kit.
What am I looking for in a steering/throttle servos? Torque, speed, etc.

I am looking to pretty much do local club racing about once a month.
I was told that I need a servo with over 200 oz of torque minimum. It seems overkill to me for what I want. But I dont know. Please sound off & help point me in the right direction of what servo specs I should begin to research.

Thanks in advance.

Well, you never said what you wanted to spend.. anyway I would suggest the ACE DS1015 for steering and the ACE DS1313 for throttle, both are great servos. Like I said without knowing what you want to spend on servos it's hard to suggest them. Do invest in good servos as 8th scales are hard on servos as it is.

I would spend about about $150.00 for both. That is not firm. I want to make sure that I spend $$ on something that will last.

What kind of servo specs am I looking for?

I dont want people to tell me what to buy. I want to know what to look for.
