dx3s steering problem - need help
 

I have a dx3s radio. Today when I was practicing, it felt like a spring the the steering wheel came off. Now I have no return to center in the steering. When I shake the radio, I can hear something bouncing around inside.
I have not pulled a radio apart before. Should I be able to open it up and put it back into place without to much of a problem...if the spring, or whatever came off, is not broken???

Probably the spring is not broken, but maybe the plastic retainer that holds it it may be. Very odd. you can take it apart to see, but if its under warranty still I would consider sending it to horizon hobby.If it is anything broken, it will have to go back anyways since they dont sell user replaceable parts for them, to my knowledge.

So I guess it is not a common problem? I found the recall on the selector wheel, but nothing on the steering wheel. I bought it from a friend, no receipt. Any idea what they charge to repair?
