question about lipo batterys
 

I got 2 2s 5000 mah lipo venom packs and they charge up to 8.30 and wont go any further ( now thats according to my Venom pro charger im charging at 5 amps ) now i put a volt meter on it and shows 8.37-8.39 will these chargers not show the correct data or just because of how high my amps are it just jumps charging up to the 8.40 and shuts off because says its full....... do lipos loose there capacity after so long of running and recharging thnx in advance Will G

Damage/age usually shows up as taking less and less mah. They also put out less mah as they age. I haven't seen that the voltage declines in mine as well. They charge normally, just charge less.

Chargers voltage measurement is a quality issue and how well the charger was calibrated on assembly. Be happy its on the low side and not trying to overcharge. There's a recal procedure on the Accucel chargers - I don't know if that is applicable to yours or not.

You might call Venom and see what kind of answer you get from them?
