Problem with Quantom Competition 2

I have been having the strangest problem with my speedo when I put it in my B44 and started to try mod motors. It ran perfectly with my stock motors and Checkpoint 19t money motor, not a single problem.

Here is the problem, when I put my 10x2 checkpoint, or 8x1 P-94 and I get to 3/4 throttle, the servo glitches and speedo go from full throttle to full brake repeatedly until I let off the throttle. It does this on new brushes, clean cut comms, and new caps on the motors. When I use my NiMh sattle packs, I can get a slightly more throttle before it starts to glitch then my Lipos(smc 4900mAh). Motor timing is set at 0 degrees. I am using an Airtronics M8 with 75mhz synthisizer set up.

I am at a loss with this one. If I pull the motor off and run it it works just fine, but when I put even the slightest load on the motor it starts to glitch.

Any Ideas?

Capacitor

Try adding a Power capacitor to the battery wires. Mod motors draw alot more amps than any 19t motor, and the power spikes will cause glitching like made.

The capacitor (i'm talking big one like what is on the LRP Sphere TC Spec), helps soak up the power spikes and allows everything to accelerate smoothly with no glitching.

Speed Passion used to do a nice one.

Also, Synthesized receivers, at least for me, are notorious to glitch. Make sure its mounted flat and that all the wiring is neat and tidy.

Other than that, look for loose screws and excess wear on drivetrain. metal on metal can cause interference as well...sometimes you just need a little more RPM to have it cause a problem (IE why it doesn't do it when you run 19t).
